Somehow it is the end of March already. Where, oh where did the last three months go? How are you doing on your New Year’s Resolutions? It might seem too early to start thinking about next year’s resolutions, but it’s not. Take a look at the New Year’s Race happening in Downtown Los Angeles on January 3, 2016. It’s selling out quickly so get signed up!
I ran in this race last year and it was an absolute blast. It’s a night run and a great way to explore Los Angeles under the lights. Not only were the buildings and landmarks beautifully lit up but my fellow runners broke out their best neon and lights and wore them around their necks, bodies and shoes making for some great people watching!
Competing in this race is a great way to get your New Year started off on the right foot, literally. Knowing that you have to run a race on the 3rd gets you training in December and makes it less tempting to really let yourself go over the holidays. You’ll start out the New Year fit, focused and ready to take on 2016. There’s a 5K, 10K and a half marathon race and this year, if you’re really feeling feisty there’s a doubleheader challenge where you can run two races in one night! So sign up now or grab a group of friends and sign up together. You’ll love it!
Here are some pics I grabbed on my iPhone while running last year. The tunnel was the best part! At the end of it, there was a band playing.
