Last weekend, we hit the road for a 4th of July under the desert sky in Phoenix, Arizona.  Although there weren’t too many fireworks due to the restrictions, we found a different kind of explosive view while riding through the red rock on a buggy.

The desert was beautiful and surprisingly green due to the rain. And speaking of green, while riding on the buggy in the heat we fell in love with the environmentally friendly S’well reusable water bottle. This thing is amazing. It kept our water cold the entire time. It is said to keep drinks cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 and comes in lots of very cool designs. Hmm, we can think of many adventures we can pack this along for–maybe even swapping out the water for a cold brew to enjoy at the beach? Yes please!

Well, since we hadn’t packed any cold brews with us for the buggy, we needed to head into town to wet our whistles.  We stumbled upon Dierks Bentley’s Scottsdale bar, Whiskey Row. This bar was a blast. With a great open-air vibe, country music, taps at your table AND ski ball, it’s not hard to settle right in here.

whiskeyrowThis bar knows how to have a good time and  sells specialty drinks like the Cow Tipper, Redneck Mouthwash and Smuttynose.  Now we have to go back for brunch because we’re dying to try those Blueberry Moonshine Pancakes with Bourbon Laced Maple Syrup!
